Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), Lithuania

Vytautas Magnus is the university of liberal arts with more than 80 study programmes and a dedicated Innovative Studies Institute. Special expertise is to be mentioned here that includes national and international policies is the leading position of University educators in development of didactics and methodologies for VET sector and application of ICT.

Prominent professors and doctors are doing research and publish their results in international journals, they spent more than ten years designing VET policies in Lithuania, as well as broader Europe. University staff competence in VET and CVET are constantly demonstrated in international arena.

In this project VMU is a leader of Exploitation and Sustainability WP5 due to its extensive experience in Transfer of Innovation Projects. It will also take part in WP1 Users requirements, WP2 Translation, WP3 Course and manual adaptation,  WP4 Testing,  WP6 Project management,  WP7 Dissemination,  WP8 Quality assurance.

Estela Dauksiene (e.dauksiene@smf.vdu.lt) is responsible for managing this project at VMU. She is a head of Administration of Lithuanian Distance and e. Learning Association, which unites Lithuanian education institutions, providing distance and e. learning. She is responsible for communication with higher education and VET institutions, which are collaborating in the network for more than 10 years.

Vida Zviniene (v.zviniene@isi.vdu.lt ) works as researcher in this project. She acquired BA and MA of Applied Informatics at Vytautas Magnus University and Postgraduate Degree in Higher Education Pedagogy at University of Liege. She is the specialist of Innovative studies institute and works with online studies and national and international projects since 2000.
