Centre of e-Learning, AGH-University of Science and Technology, Poland

Centre of e-Learning (CeL) is a unit of AGH – University of Science and Technology in Krakow, which is one of the biggest technical universities in Poland. It is attended by more than 30 thousand students. CeL is mailny responsible for providing pedagogical and technical support for AGH departments and employees who wish to enhance their teaching with e-learning. We are also involved in other initiatives that aim at enhancing quality and access to education: developing online ourses, maintaining OER repository (Open AGH), facilitating e-portfolio implementation and developing open source software. We cooperate with faculties, schools, educational authorities and individuals on regional and international level.

In VET2EDU Cel is represented by three persons, who have more of a social science and pedagogical than technical background. All of us are online course designers and tutors, working mostly with different types of educators (university and school teachers, teacher trainers, bussiness trainers) and helping them learn more about online education.

Agnieszka Chrząszcz is a project’s coordinator, Karolina Grodecka is responsible for maintaining learning environment and translation of the open materials, and Kinga Dobrodziej-Szymczyk concentrates on users’ requirenments and case studies. Beata Tworzewska is coordinating the recruitment for course piloting. Paulina Paduch is dealing with administration and finances.

  1. Hello!
I had contact with your project last week while i was researching for Moodle material.
As i am an informatics teacher and ICT former that uses Moodle everyday i wonder if it’s possible to colaborate with you to have a Portuguese version of your Moodle course, so that it could be spread to Portuguese teachers.
    Many thanks and best regards,

    Nuno Marques
